Tickets will be sold at the door for this fantastic comedy adventure!

Come on out and support the Pine Tree Theatre One Act Play Company compete at Whitehouse High School in Whitehouse, Texas on Tuesday, March 5th. at 10:00 AM. Doors close promptly at 10:00 AM and will not reopen until after the show.

About Pine Tree Theatre
Any Pine Tree student is eligible to audition for our plays and volunteer to work in our technical department. Opportunities for students in performance and technical theater roles including scenic design and construction, prop construction, lighting, sound, stage management, costumes, and hair and make-up design.
THEATRE TAUGHT IN HIGH SCHOOLS FULFILS FOUR BASIC PURPOSES
I. THEATRE AS SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITY:
To give the student a break from academic activities, fulfilling the same needs as a sports activity.
II. THEATRE AS LIFE ENRICHMENT:
To produce aesthetically responsive citizens with lifelong interest in the arts.
III. THEATRE AS THERAPY:
To enhance students’ personal growth and development and self-discovery, developing self-confidence, teaching group work ethics, etc.
Giving the student a break from academic activities, fulfilling the same needs as a sports activity.
IV. THEATRE AS TRAINING:
To prepare for continued and future studies in the field of Theatre Arts
PINE TREE HIGH SCHOOL THEATRE FULFILLS ALL FOUR PURPOSES, BUT OUR MISSION STATEMENT IS FOCUSED PRIMARILY ON THE FOURTH GOAL
Pine Tree Theatre students become a family as they work together to produce quality shows for our community and for competition across Texas. The skills our students embody prepares them for success in the workplace as well as in the next level of theatre education and service.
